I Miss You!

I want to share this following message with all of you for two reasons:
1. I miss all of you terribly!
2. After 7+ years of having a church home - I know what it's like to be a visitor again.

We visited a church this morning. This was our first time attending church since our move. The moment I sat down I was struck by the thought that because of our new location I can no longer have North Park as my church home. A BIG Lesson in Faith

As you know last week was a series of emotional highs and lows, and significant Spiritual affirmation for both Don and I. While I think it’s important for children to see emotions lived out by their parents, we were faced with such uncharted territory that I’m afraid we wouldn’t have been very good examples or fully understood the impact that the stress was going to have on our beautiful babies.

Thanks for the Reminder

So this morning was amazing...the music was phenomenal and the message hit me in a place that I didn't realize needed a jab.

Jim was right out there - calling out all the reasons why most of our unchurched friends don't come when we invite them.

I'm so thankful for his reminder because there are so many times that I just don't realize why they aren't listening. As a wife, mother, daughter and friend who has been so blessed I have a hard time understanding someone who wants to reject the bigges… Continue
