The Chaos of My desk and Daily Devotion for North Park Community Church

My desk is a mess. Once, in first grade, my teacher - can't remember the nun's name - put my entire desk in a box and sent me along with the box to the principal's office. I can't remember her name but I remember how upset I was over being reprimanded for having a dirty desk. I remember the squished Twinkie that was in the desk. Letting Go of Fear

Accepting change is scary when we feel like we don't have control over the change. For instance, accepting a new job may bring some anxiety but if we are the one that sought out the job there is usually not fear. But for me when the change is out of my control or when I think of doing something that is completely outside of my comfort zone I get scared. Toll Roads and Miscommunication and Daily Devotion for North Park Community Church

The other day I was heading up to Wisconsin for a business trip. The salesperson and I had to hit a few tolls along the way. Finding One to Rest In

Whew, life is busy. It's exhausting. At times even overwhelming. And those are the easy days - the ones without drama!
